Sayyid Al-Hussein Al-Abdali (707 A.H. / 1307 A.D.)

He is Sayyid Abu Abdullah Al-Hussein Bin Saad Allah Bin Hamza Bin Saad Allah Bin Abi Al-Saadat Al-Husseini Al-Abdali, a virtuous clerk, auditor, and with many glorified virtues and feats.

Al-Abdali was one of the most prominent figures of the eighth Hijri century, who was nicknamed Izz al-Din Abu Abdullah. Al-Fouti described him by saying: “He is one of the inhabitants of holy shrine of Imam Hussein (A. S), the best of greetings and peace upon him, I saw him in Tabriz in the 707 Hijri year, as he was one of the merchants who visited the Levant."

He once said:

"Aasnaa layali al-Dahr eindi layla       lam Ukhli fiha al-Kas min 'iiemal

Farraqt fiha bayn jafani walkura         wajamae bayn al-Qart walkhilkhal"

The best nights ever when I have one             in which the grail was not empty of work

In it, I separated my eyelids from the Drowsiness     and combined the earring and anklet
